The Bukit Cinta |
Bukit Cinta or we can say “Love Hill”, is a little hill in
Banyubiru, Semarang Regency, Central Java. It has so many high, leafy pines
tress and thick grass around the hill.
There are also so many birds and bugs around the trees, so that create a
unique back sound like in the middle of the wild jungle. We can see some pretty
chickens play around and so many little birds jumping from one branch to the
other also. There are so many bugs upside the trees called Jenggeret. The temperature is comfortable for me, it’s cool in
the morning and getting warmer in the day. The best thing of all is the breeze.
It is make me
relax until asleep. I really love it, I usually come here in the weekend.

The Family visited Bukit Cinta |
Bukit Cinta becomes crowded in the weekend. Some people come to have
picnic or spent their holliday with their family, friend or their partner. The
family spent the time by lying down onto ground or playing with their kids. The
couples choose to sit on the bench and do some romantic things. Some other
choose to have a picnic by bringing some delicious food or just enjoy the
surroundings while reading the book. Beside the beauty of Bukit Cinta, people
like to visit it because it has so many facilities and affordable for the local
tourist.
We only pay 7.500 rupiah for one ticket to enjoy Bukit Cinta. There
are some food stands around it. You can buy some traditional food like fried cetul, the crispy baby fish from Rawa Pening, and have lunch there. You
can also enjoy the landscape while eating delicious traditional rujak, a kind of traditional fruit salad
with Javanese peanut sauce, from the stand.

How to get to Bukit Cinta?
You can use your car or motorcycle to visit Bukit Cinta. If you depart
from Yogjakarta or Semarang, you can turn to Banyubiru street from Palagan
Ambarawa. Just go straight and follow the main street for about 5 km until you
find ‘Bukit Cinta’s gate in your left hand. However, if you use public
transportation, you can ask the driver to stop in Bawen bus station. After
that, you can use angkot, a mini bus
for public transportation, to Ambarawa. Ask the driver to stop in Tanjung bus
stop then go with Muncul angkot to
Bukit Cinta. It takes 30 minutes from Tanjung. You can also go here by bus
from Solo. You should stop in Salatiga – Banyubiru T junction. Then, you go to
Bukit Cinta with Muncul angkot. Ask the driver to stop in front of the Bukit
Cinta’s gate. It is about 13 km away and takes more or less 30 minutes.

The Food Stands |
Bukit cinta already has so many facilities like stand which sell
snack and fresh food for lunch, some benches, rest rooms, play ground, trash
bin and gazebo. The food and beverage stands also have some floor mat to be
rented if you want to lay down on the grass. Unfortunately, it takes 30-50% more money
from normal price to buy that stuff. If you go here by yourself, I recommend
you to bring your private stuff and camera only for simple trip. But if you
come here with your family or friends, it is better to bring your own food and beverage
from your own home to save your money.

Spend the day by lying down on
the floor mat under the pines tree with your friends, gonna be so perfect if
you bring your guitar and go with someone who can sing and play guitar well.
Don’t forget to bring some pillow and snack! Or if you want to do some fun,
bring your bridge, UNO card or UNO brick also. The yummy crunchy snack like
potato chips, nuts, wafers or nachos will accomplish your day. Do not forget to
keep health with mineral water and bring some fresh fruit. For family who
has kids, I suggest you to bring some extra clothes for your kids.
Bukit Cinta, as a natural
tourist destination consists of natural grass, soil, trees and much other
nature stuff. It may make your kid’s clothes dirty, especially when they go to play around in the grass or in the play
ground. Bring pillows and cotton thin blanket to cover your
kid and protect them from any kind of bugs or mosquitos when they sleep
after having play ground activity, will be nice. It will be more delightful also if
you bring your own floor mat and cook your own meal. I suggest you to bring fruits
or juice rather than snack. I believe the kids will be interesting with the
food stand and ask you to buy them. Dont forget to bring your camera. And the
last but not the least, don’t forget to bring your wallet! Enjoy your time in
Bukit Cinta!
Looks great! This will be my next place to visit. Thanks for sharing.
